LAX FIRING RANGE RULES

Firearm Safety Rules

– ALWAYS treat all firearms as if they are loaded.

– ALWAYS keep your firearm pointed in the safest direction possible.

– ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.

– ALWAYS keep your firearm unloaded until you are on the firing line and ready to fire.

Range Rules

– To rent a firearm from us, you must be in a party of 2 or more, unless you bring your own firearm. This is a personal safety precaution.

– Range Officers will inspect firearms and ammunition prior to lane assignment.

– All shooters are required to complete and sign the range waiver and present a valid government issued identification. Expired IDs and digital IDs are not accepted.

– Minimum age to shoot is 12. Minors between the ages of 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Parents must provide proof of relationship in the form of a birth certificate. Legal guardians are required to present a notarized court order or other official guardianship documentation due to liability and safety concerns.

– DRESS CODE RESTRICTIONS: NO open-toed shoes, NO tank tops or low-cut shirts. (This is for your safety and the safety of others around you)

– DO NOT load firearms anywhere but on the firing line.

– All firearms not on the firing line must be stored unloaded in a locked case, for rentals: unloaded in the plastic bin.

– Consuming food and beverages are prohibited on the firing line and in the lobby area. (Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.)

– Tracer, incendiary, armor piercing, steel case, aluminum case, steel core, bimetal, in ANY caliber, are strictly prohibited at the range, at any time.

– Violation of this policy will result in the immediate removal of the shooter/s from the range.

– Commands issued by Range Officers and Range Personnel must be obeyed immediately and without question.

– Only approved targets may be used.

– Shotguns must have a buttstock.

– All rifles must have sights.

– All firing from the firing, within the shooting booth, must be aimed fire.

– All firing from the firing line is Slow Fire, one shot per second.

– Drawing from the holster is prohibited unless authorized by the management.

– Never clean firearms anywhere on the premises.
